More more ATCs

Hello! All, been missing for many weeks as I have been busy spending time with families and relaxing without doing any scrapping except making ATCs. I am just happy as my mojo for ATCs are just pouring like water immediately after I came back from Liza's class on altered box for ATCs over at Papier last month.

I am happy that my swap group for ATCs has been growing not big but just ok and enough for us to gather once in a while catching up over lunch, chatting while swapping ATCs. It is so fun, as we do not see each other every week but at least once in a month. To all my swap buddies, you know who you are and your ATCs never fails to put a big smile to my face every time I look at them.  I learned a lot of techniques along the way and every single ATCs is unique in its own way and it is always a "limited edition" one of a kind...hence grab fast!

On top of that, I have not scrapped a layouts regularly nowadays as my mojo for 12 x 12 are just gone for an early Christmas I guess. Managed to do about 2 layouts with a very minimal mojo in my head!  but that have to wait until I have the time to share.  Here I am sharing with you some of my ATCs so far...

It has a few groups...the divas group, the punchanella group, the birdies group, the secret/vintage diaries group, the body forms group, the seam bindings group, the colored metal group and the misc. group.  I love all of the ATCs...

the dress form

*these one are very easy to do just a stamping and I sew a little piece of tulle to form a black netting dress added some white beads and I sew the edges of the ATCs with sewing machine using pieces of left over materials.  Only one of the ATCs are different without a dress but a vintage button pasted on it.

the punchinella

*these I used texture paste and punchinella as a stencil and I coloured the ATCs using Inka Gold, Donna Downey and some rub and buff colours.

the seam binding

*I did these yesterday night while watching "Jack and the Neverland Pirate" with my girl, basically just a pieces of scrap papers, buttons, laces, flowers and seam bindings...look like a tag but a small version tags.

the divas

*those vintage photo I got it from the "darkroom door" and I cutted them nicely using my vintage photo cutter and added some laces, colours, old book papers, Inka Gold colours and I sew them using my sewing machine and you can see my black zig zag thread and I added title on every Diva...example Miss World, Miss Vain, Miss Sissy, Miss Photogenic and so on...

the coloured foils 

*these are after Liza's inspiration and those are embossed using Ten Seconds Studio's dies. Easy peasy....

the misc

*these are a mixture of everything and very easy to do but look great in real life as most of it has textures...

the birdie

*these birds are done using a flower petals and the bird is from the new Sizzix dies and some stamping on the backgground and added some Donna Downey colours to the feathers.

*the secret/vintage diaries and copper foil

*I had so much fun doing these ATCs as it is totally vintage and I basically used the copper foil and hammered all the alphabets one by one to form a word or sentiments. As for the bird feathers, I used Melissa Frances flakes and it is kind of white/transparent in colour...so you can't really see the feathers.

Scrappingville: Yuzz November 2011 Class

Hi! I am late in posting this and my apologies to Sharon for the lateness (my bad) for this month November 2011, we was given an extremely va va voom kit again by Sharon of Scrappingville.

I received a 12 x 12 canvas piece and also I was given a nice stand, loads of embellishments, 6 pieces of chip boards, patterned papers, Maya Road canvas album. With all of that, I did a layout on the canvas and also a  calendar.

playing ball

The weather here is raining every day hence, my mojo is so low and lazy to do anything crafty. Except a few ATCs and I do spent my quality time with the family.  My girl is going to be 3 soon in the next couple of months and she is so talkative nowadays.  Here a layout of her photos playing a ball in the evening at the local park.  Well, when it rains the grass are wet so the field and she run and run until all her clothes are wet...giggling, laughing, yelling and everything, she has the energy of 24/7.

A very simple layout I did 2 weeks ago but haven't had the time to share, it was for some challenge which as usual I totally forget to submit and for which blog. I have more projects to share, lets see whether I will be blogging again tomorrow.

fab...fab...fabulous

Layout I did on Wednesday for a challenge but I can't remember from which blog.  I used Prima flowers again and the rest are just my left over papers, laces, leaves given by friend, button, corrugated board, Kaisercraft butterfly and etc.

 

 

 

I blogged and posted my layout almost every day this week, hence I might not be blogging next week. However, it depends...if I have something new I will share with all of you. On the other note, I am busy doing book binding and taking orders from friends which turn out to be very good. If you guys interested to buy a hand bound book please leave me a comment. Here sharing with you another layout I did "last week" and I used the old p/paper, my last month scrapbook kit, red burlap from my swap buddy and my never ending stash.

What I love the most while doing this page is that, my last month kit has this "Jenni Bowlin" pink paint dabber and it was my first time using it and I kind of like it as I dabbed dabbed dabbed the pink paint here and there, you can see it on the page.  Another one is the "S" and "M" sizes logo, which was in the kit as well and here in the layout I used it to differentiate - the baby (in S size) and my girl (in M size).

Smart Cookie for Creative Scrappers #178

Hi! I am so happy as I managed to scrapbook every other day and my mojo is here to stay (as for now) what a fabulous time when I get to scrap (minus the disturbance). My layouts lately is more to putting layers and playing with flowers...I find it good as I get to used all my prima flowers stash that I have been hoarding for ages. Some of those blooms are just so outdated but I just used...

Wish

Off late, I found it hard to get my creative juice flowing if I want to create a layout using medium/paint.  Hence, my layout lately is just playing with papers and layering and this one was done last week and simple indeed. I wanted to create a va va voom banner, instead I opted to something simple and easy. I cut the flat bottle caps into 2 and glued - thats it!

 

I am going to submit this to {Create} Make It Happen challenge blog and that is all for now and thanks for all the lovely comments and come back tomorrow as I have another layout to share.

Canvas and a card

Sharing with you a card I did last month from my DT kit left over and it is just a simple card, not a va va voom one ;)

On another note, all the DTs over at Scrappingville had the opportunity learning with Sharon on how to do this little girl canvas piece.  What an amazing way to create this with loads of techniques, mist, color, fun and laughter.

Scrap-it-Lah October Challenge

Hello! Everyone, I have been busy scrapbooking and book binding for the past few days.  This time around no paint used may be on my 3rd layout...a bit of Jenni Bowlin paint dabber.  I managed to do this page with a lots of disturbance in between.  I have been feeling under the moon or should I say dark cloud lately but now I am getting much much better.  Comfort, hugs and kisses from the people around me makes me feeling good again.  However, sadness helps me a lot as I scrapped non stop for the past 3 days?? which is absolutely weird and it is a rare situation for me to produce 3 layouts in 3 days. Whatever!

This post is for the layout I did for Scrap-it-Lah October Challenge.  In this layout, the initial photo used was ruined by the Tombo glue and I ripped it off and finally got this photo of us (I know I have been using that photo often) but can't help it that is the only photo that is suitable for this page at that time.

The October challenge is to include:-
1.  Old book paper, music sheet or something similar
2.  Fussy cutting
3.  Hand-stitching using embroidery floss

Here is my take...

this time the title was used by doodling it on some pieces of papers and over lap it with my journal...no alphabets thickers this time around.

As mentioned earlier, the truth is this layout was pasted with my DD's photo at first and at the end of my process completing this page, I dropped some tombo glue right on the photo and on her hair and there you go...I ripped off the photo and got this photo of us as a replacement. 

I used the music sheet, fussy cutting done and as well as stitching by hand using embroidery floss.
