Antique vintage steel luggage

I bet some of you know that I love all things antique and vintage.
I have seen the same thing while visiting my relative over Eid Mubarak and she put it under the staircase and hers is yellow colour and I forget to ask from her.  After I am done visiting all the houses for "Raya" I went to the local antique store and found these beauties for sale and I just had to have it! I told my hubby that I want the red one and he said "take both, the green and red".  So we brought it back home and my father is kind enough to have it clear sprayed at the local "car painting shop" and voila these are the antique vintage steel luggage that are now with me.

On top on that I have bought from the same shop two antique glass jars and few antique plates which are similar to my late mother collection that I have currently.  Thanks for looking.

Another addition...

My other half has been very helpful on my scrapping needs so far, I have requested him to buy the white spray paint as I need to paint my 2 F&N crates. He even helped spray painted them for me on Sunday and my next mission is to paint my vintage sewing machine (you know the "kaki sewing machine spider web tu") which I bought from the antique flea market at Armcorp Mall few months ago.

another 2 F&N crates, total I have 3 of those

and these are another three jars that just found their new home...our home...

some of my rick rack, laces, pom pom trim and whatever that come in loose not in spools...this is the storage jar

some of my stamps' collection (not all)

now I have 2 of these jars...because it is so nice and tall...

Last week I did these awesome ribbon bows.

12 colours altogether

you can even put them at your jar

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful jars

First of all thank you for all your comments in my previous post.
I have a layout to share but lets share with you on Monday and I am also in scrapping mood. My mind always thinking on what to create next be it layout or altered project.

Back to the topic, I have been looking for beautiful jars online or even at our local household shops. The jars from Ikea are quite common and I want something like my vintage jar that I inherited from my late mother ages ago. Found a few and I am one happy bunny with her tail 360 degree up!;)

this is the vintage jar that I inherited from my late mother and I filled it with lots of twines and threads

these are half of what I have...

I love my twines and yarn balls

Loving all those jars and it looks really yummy ha...enjoy your weekend and thank you for visiting.

Soft drink crate

I have not been updating my blog lately and no scrapping done last weekend. Instead I am busy spending my quality time with the family. My other half on the other hand is so helpful and interested in my ATCs...he helped a lot...he even asked "do you want more paint?" (awesome isn't it)

I have also managed to tidy up my scrap room which has been abandoned and the maid is kind enough to wipe all the dust on the table, bottles and everywhere...clean as always.

I have also working on something which is this...I transformed this soft drink crate from this look...

AFTER

I painted the box and my husband helped me by randomly sprayed the white paint and it doesn't covers perfectly, as you can see in some area there are still wood colours...(as I want to keep that vintage look just a bit)

I store all my mists', acrylic paints', alcohol inks', dimensional pearls', stickles' and I have more colours not only these...oh..I need another crate I think.

I randomly put everything in, just to take photo

here I wrongly store the mist which is upside down...later I put it correctly so that it won't spill

Do you like this? no? Just sharing with you this is how it looks like "how I store some of my favourite things"...

On top of that...today I received 5 parcels, ATCs and some yummy goodies from a good friend...just love all of them.

Thank you for looking.
