little drummer

I haven't been scrapping lately just because I don't have a mojo visiting me for the past 6 days. However, I managed to create one layout and this time I did not use any paint at all. I used the K & Co. die cuts which all the flowers, birds, bees and etc are all pre-cut - all you need to do is just paste them anywhere you like. That is what I did for this layout...it took me 3 days to have this done. Why? I scrapped and I stopped and I continued the next day and I stopped...that is what happened when I don't have a mojo.

My girl is into the music since she is about 9 months, if you follow my blog long enough I have scrapped her photo previously beating the drum. She is definitely following her daddy, we used to do a jamming session at home just the three of us and it is fun! Daddy got her a set of mini drum last month and the moment she saw the set she screamed and I still remember her face. Here is the layout of my dear daughter beating the hi-hat and thanks to Chris for the tittle.

Thanks for looking and for all the comments on my previous post and have a good day!

your dummy glasses

This layout was done for The Color Room # 49. I did it half way with only the banner, the reason I tossed this layout away because I discovered that we have to follow the sketch. Only recently I was told that the sketch is just for guidance and not necessary to follow the sketch but you must follow the colours.

After a couple of weeks being abandoned, I picked it up a few days ago and finished it up with some crazy photos, colours here and there...bla...bla...bla and here is "your dummy glasses"

because of so much camera flash...you can see the silver mist clearly on the black cardstock

Kinda lazy layout done by me, because I don't want to waste my papers.
Thanks for looking and thank you so much for all your comments on my previous post. Have a great weekend!

your childhood

I managed to do this layout yesterday night with the help of my little "munchkin" she helped by messing up my table and spilled half bottle of my Americana paint! very good girl...next she started stamping...that is how busy she is if I am creating.

In this layout I used Jenni Bowlin paper, Donna Downey stamps (I really love this stamp...super big), the 3 little frames are from Je t'Adore Collection - Making Memories, as well as the 1st and 3rd tickets on top. I even used my punchanella this time...so many ways you can use it, paint, masked and so on but this time I just glued them as a border at the bottom.

I really love how I paint the stamps in different colours (I really got to learn more on stamping techniques)

I add dimensional pearls in different colours through the punchanella holes and created that "V" like pattern

I would like to give a credit to Ingvild for the inspiration, she never fails to impress me with her amazing work that always look vintage and shabby chic to me. Truly love her work and thanks to you for dropping by and see you in my next entry. Have a great week ahead.

TA DAA...

Here is a layout I did after I came back from my vintage findings shopping with Amelia. Did it in a jiffy as all the things I need was right in front of me in a box. Everything are from my Studio Calico Kit (again)...only the title is from mylittleshoebox.com
I wanted to put extra "A" at the end of the word "DAA..." however there only have limited "A" hence the title "TA DA" it is...

it was a photo of her playing hide and seek behind the sliding doors, hence there are some clear lines on her face in the photo because of the glass reflection. She always used the words "TA DA" whenever she wants to surprise us.

Thanks for dropping by! Happy New Year!

Sweet Child of Mine aka My Sweet Child

My Sweet Child
I had a great weekend and everything are just well planned, I managed to get this layout done last night with the help of my girl. She helped me by putting all those buttons for the flowers and I said "Thank you honey", she replied back "Ta you Mommy" oh wow...how nice isn't it? She is now able to speak in full sentence bit by bit like "Daddy where are you?" "Mommy eat" and a few other words, she is progressing well. How time flies...

Well on to this layout, it was a picture of...who else? my girl and here she is playing with the plates, saucer, spoon as an act that she is cooking. Love those little hands and face...

I put the tittle on top of each other...so that my layout is not too crowded with words since it is already crowded with flowers and the patterned paper.

I love the gate and flowers that I punched on the green Dear Lizzy paper

I love the white space and decided to put a few butterflies, Artisan Elements - Circle used as photo corner.

I used a patterned paper from Me & My Big Ideas Specialty Cardstock Cartonne Special and cut them into half according to the patterned (and I put foam dots) and pasted them on the cream base cardstock, and the other side of the patterned paper I used to punched my butterflies and I also used as a background of the picture above (the purple dots). The papers stack are totally awesome and got it few months back and I realized I haven't even used it. I punched the gate using Martha Stewart puncher as well as the flowers on the green Dear Lizzy patterned paper and I put foam dots so that I have a 3D like view and also to create dimensions. All the Prima flowers are pasted using foam dots so that it is not totally flat.

Material used: Me & My Big Ideas Specialty Cardstock Cartonne Special, Prima flowers, buttons, MS punchers, AC thickers, MM aplhabet stickers, plain cream cardstock and Artisan Elements - Circle.

Full of Joy
