Here sharing with you a layout I did last week on Sunday and the paper is from Prima and some from my stash. I am trying to used my "ribbon guni"/"burlap ribbon" in this layout and a little bit of the seam binding (the red ribbon bow) and some other laces that I have.
some of my handmade blooms from Cuttlebug dies and laces
I swirled the alphabets/tittle with a vintage wire, laces from my swap buddy & from my stash, a little bit of patterned ric rac
I have to include my DD since she was there while I took the photos and she said "Mommy, Mommy Zara"
again, that is my girl!
and her little fingers holding and hiding behind the layout
I have a few more Prima papers waiting to be scrapped and I think I will (I think) and on another note I am so happy that my scrapbook kit for this month which I have received the last couple of weeks is filled with loads of Echo Park latest papers from CHA, Jenni Bowlin dabber, SEAM BINDING and few other goodies. Heaven...like Sharon said "treat your papers like GOLD" oh yes I will. I also received some parcels full with May Arts ribbons (17 spools altogether) and 16 rolls of varieties colours of SEAM BINDING!!! My other half said "so tonight you will be sleeping on those spools of ribbons?" grrr....
I am also collecting my scrapbook kit from Scrappingville tomorrow and yesterday night I managed to finished one layout and I will share with you guys soon and thanks for all the lovely comments on my previous post, thank you for taking the time to write and stop by.
If you love to read books like me I suggest you go and get "a stolen life" by Jaycee Dugard and "Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother" by Amy Chua. That Tiger Mother was recommended to me by Sharon and I am glued, "a stolen life" I found about this book from the papers and I am always on the look out for new books especially true stories.
Lastly "Selamat Hari Raya" to all my Muslim friends and families.
