Metal Art ATCs

After attending the metal art class by Catherine last two weeks, I immediately get hooked to do metal art. Since I have a few rolls of colored foils in my studio, I quickly grabbed them and started working. For this month ATC swap with Liza and Amelia, we have a theme - to create metal ATCs.

I did a couple from the metal tape and also from the colored foils. The techniques I used included rub and buff, sand, stamp, and some embossing. You can try, it is fun and the technique and way of doing this metal art is endless, it is totally up to your imagination and this time my technique are quite simple, very easy and straight forward. Sharing some ATCs I did last week using colored foils.

To the rest of my ATCs swap partners, my apologies these metal ATCs are not included in your swap. I have put aside a different type of ATCs for you guys, if you want one of the above - next swap perhaps ;)

Thank you for the lovely comments I have received in my previous post and thanks a bunch for dropping by. Hugs

Swap-bot

I joined Swap-bot last month and it is kind of interesting website whereby you will get to join any swap that you like and those who loves creating ATCs like me you might want to give it a try. I have completed 3 swaps so far and has been rated. Those ATCs that I received from US, South Africa and etc are awesome and I have also joined a personal swap created by some of the members in Swap-bot.

Some ATCs have been mailed and I forget to take the picture, some ATCs I managed to take the photos before it is posted.

My first swap was "Blue", you are required to create something that is in blue color, below is the sample of the color.

Swap-bot swap: ATC series colors # 2 - Blue.

Sharing with you my take for ATC series colors #2 - Blue.

I used the "Thai silk" in blue color and created this ATC, small blue roses with a pearl like centre piece. As usual behind of this ATC, will be my brief info and I also painted the canvas behind.

My second swap was "Show me your city PC" you will have to post a post card to your partner assigned and that post card has to be a picture of your city. I am done with that but I intend to send more post cards to my partner in my second mail. Hang in there Linda!

My third swap is to create an ATC in pink, I did not have the picture of my ATC for this but I used the pink songket for my ATCs. Here is the sample of pink colour.

Swap-bot swap: ATC series colors # 3 - Pink

My fourth swap which I am yet to get my partner is "Key to my heart ATC swap". Here is my take for this swap.

I used the "Collection Elements" chipboard, my vintage wire spool, rustic key from my vintage hunting, tea dye muslin cloth, heart brad and this was done on a canvas. I like this one the most!

Till then see you in my next entry. Thanks for dropping by.

Crop Market and ATCs swap

I haven't been blogging and creating a layout lately. Plus my girl and my other half just recovered from their sickness and we also had so much fun from an awesome holiday with the family and all I could think of is my little crafty area, my work in progress "mini album", ATCs and tons of picture that I want to scrap. I don't know when I could finish my mini album that only 4 pages done...the rest is still on hold.

I had fun Saturday last week meeting up with crafters and friends. We have Crop Market at Papier and at the same time we do an ATCs swap. I swapped my ATCs with Amelia, Liza, Rosa and Sareena. I love all the ATCs and I even managed to find some other crafters' for my next swap.

All the below ATCs created by me have find their new home and if you are interested to swap your ATCs with me, please let me know.

I haven't had the chance to photograph the ATCs that I've got from them, will share soon in my next entry.

Not to forget thanks to Amelia, Sharm, Rosa and Teacher Jessy for an awesome tutorial and gorgeous work last week. Have a good weekend and thanks for dropping by.
