My canvases', Swap and Typewriter

Hello! Everyone, it has been ages I did not update my blog and here I am trying to squeeze some time to get this blog updated.

A couple of months ago, my swap buddies decided to exchange a canvas project and I have done 4 canvases' for the swap.  I am totally in awe, love the work of Christy Tomlinson and totally inspiring, thanks to her.

The 1st canvas gone to Roza and I hope it is happily sitting in her studio.

This is the canvas, I received from Roza...
Thank you Roza...love this awesome piece of canvas!

The 2nd canvas was done for a swap as well, but unfortunately my swap partner not really keen to swap, hence this canvas will be put up hanging on my wall.

The 3rd canvas, is currently residing in Singapore with Emeline , and this is my canvas to her.

This is the canvas that I received from Emeline...
Love yours Emeline , very soothing colours used.

The 4th canvas, experienced the same scenario as number 2, and totally inspired by Christy Tomlinson, this canvas will be put up hanging on my wall.  Very colourful indeed!

The rest of my swap buddies has created nothing but "va va voom" canvases'.  I haven't got the chance to take pictures of all the canvases'.

Besides these, that I have created a few projects which I am yet to share but some have been shared in my IG.

A little announcement, for those who are looking for a vintage old typewriter, you can email me at yuzzyusof@gmail.com and I also do "services" for old typewriters. Rest assured all typewriters are professionally serviced and good to be used.  You can check with my friends, Amelia@Baby Blue and Liza@Misscraftee as I have done for them.

Thank you for dropping by and reading my post and have a great day ahead and happy crafting.

Thanks for the apron!

Kak Liza thank you for the apron and I love it, it has my name on top and I am so glad you love the Janome.

Some of you have asked me to do a review on the Janome. Well, it is a long story...the Janome was happily purchased for Liza Yahya and you might want to drop by at her blog and leave some love and I am sure she will be happy to reply you. Just a quick info, Janome provides 25 years warranty and it is a very reliable sewing machine. This particular model you can't find it in Malaysia, portable, light weight, small and for a small size sewing machine to have 60 stitches are just consider super awesome. For more info you can go here and here. I think some of you might want to get a sewing machine, don't you?

Little update: the name tag I did on my previous post below is totally inspired by Julie Van Oosten, the owner of Collection Elements and thanks to her for the inspiration. (Julie, I can't wait to receive the Collection Elements's package that soon will be reaching me next week, perhaps. Thank you so much!)

Thank you for all the comments on my previous post and you guys really make my day. Have a great weekend and thanks for dropping by.

Fabric mini albums for a swap

I did 4 minis altogether: 3 for my swap buddies and 1 for me to keep

I stamped my name on a piece of paper and slide it next to the flower

the back of the albums

I did these fabric mini albums for my swap buddies and I am so glad that everyone are happy.

I used all my imported fabrics for these albums, mainly all cotton fabrics and for the side of the albums: I used the brown jute and tied it all up around the wooden spools and attached them to the albums with some yarn, ribbons, blue beads and gold beads.

At the back page, I glued and sewed the red beads to give some sparkle. For all the pages it is consist of handmade pins, flowers, some laces if I am not mistaken and it also have canvas pages which is sewn to the fabrics.

I am looking forward for more more swap to come.
