Canvas Album at Scrappingville

First of all thanks to Sharon for teaching me last week on this canvas album, great company, I truly enjoyed the class, great techniques and I learned a lot of new things over at Scrappingville. Sharon is a very talented scrapper and she did a lot of altered arts and her works are just awesome and amazing.

This Donna Downey kit is to die for...my album turned to be so colourful and I am loving it to the bits. She has been reminding me not to forget to blog about the canvas album. In the class I was given 10 rubs on by Donna Downey, Donna Downey canvas album (consists of 5 pieces of canvas, 5 pieces of plastic sheets) and a few others embellishments. I managed to coloured all the canvas pieces during my class and for the 5 sheets of plastics I put alternately in between the canvas pieces. I inserted patterned papers in each plastic sheets and scrapped both sides. The album is so colourful and I just love the end results. I have not done yet with this album, right now I have been working every night until midnights since returning from Scrappingville just to finish this album. Sharon also taught me how to make beautiful flowers using cotton fabrics and papers. All from her Donna Downey class that she attended in Singapore.

Here are some of the pictures of my album..sneak peak...

can you see that red flower, I made it!!! Thanks Sharon!

More to be revealed soon! Thanks for dropping by...

Creative Scrappers : Sketch #107

Been wanting to create this layout for the past weeks but I have been busy with my family. Finally, I am done yesterday afternoon and it is so fun creating the layout. I love the sketch and I think I scrap better with sketch. I sew all the four papers at the bottom with my sewing machine using different pattern of stitches and for the border I sew straight line and coloured the border with blossom pink colour. It is a picture of my Zara feeding her rabbits, at this moment we have four rabbits at home. She loves to feed the rabbits and she shows no fear at all touching the rabbits with her bare little hands.

Tiger Bobby and Princess G'ny

Tiger Bobby

Just sharing, here are the latest photos of our fur kid at home...he won an award in 2005 for the best long fur cat in the International Cat Show. Now he is so spoiled, sleeping most of the time and looking at birds and squirrels in the afternoon. He will only eat foods that we bought from the vet, no cheap foods please! Bobby was a gift from my hubby in 2003, he was so small when I first met him. Time flies...

Princess G'ny

G'ny was a gift from my good friend, I got her in year 2001 and she is so attached to me. We lost G'ny somewhere in March this year, and we believed she has been kidnapped. My other neighbours lost her 3 persian as well. I guess the culprit only eyed on those pretty and nice cats in the neighbourhood. Poor G'ny, we don't know where you are now...

My munchkin

This is a layout I did last weekend, a photo of us together while holidaying in Melaka late last year. Such a historical city, a lot of places of interest and you can find many antique shops along the Jonker Street. We took a lot of pictures' and we love their trishaws' - decorated with flowers and it is colourful. Here is my layout...

Pencil Lines : Sketch 189

It was too late to submit this layout of mine since the submission date is closed. However, I finished it up last week and decided to blog about it. Simple sketch by Pencil Lines and I used my brilliant sewing machine for all the stitching works. Hop on to Pencil Lines for more challenges and ideas. Below is my interpretation..

Creative Scrappers : Sketch #106

I had fun creating the layout for the above sketch. Hop on to Creative Scrappers for more info. Here is my take for Sketch #106.

I used my sewing machine and sew nice stitching using my Singer and for the photo, I used my antique photo cutter to cut my photo. To win a prize from their sponsor - Snobby Walrus - you should complete at least one layout from sketches 106-107-108-109-110. Log on to Creative Scrappers now!

Scrap The Girls: JUNE Challenge

This is the layout I did a couple of months ago for my girl's birthday, I decided to join Scrap The Girls, June challenge as their challenge for this month is pretty simple.

"scrap those un-scrapped girly birthday pics you have! Please make your pages bright and fun!
Extra Criteria – Mixed alpha title (at least 3 different alphas)" : Scrap The Girls

Here is my take...

I sew the "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" words on a varieties of coloured/patterned felt and put them together in one row hanging like a clothes under the sun.

Thanks for dropping by. :)
