Unmeasured Love

This layout was done last week within 1 hour - which is quite long and I used mainly my DT's kit for this and now this layout is displayed at Scrappingville. Check them out if you are interested to attend any of their classes or better still go to their shop for some shopping spree on those yummy scrapbook stuffs.

Here you go, a simple layout and I am loving the border of this layout...the paint effect and gesso added some dramatic and hazy look for this page (at least for me).

If you like this layout come and join my class over at Scrappingville.  Till next time, happy crafting. Cheers!

HOPE

Hi! Everyone
Haven't had a chance to share any new entry after the last one as I was busy scrapping every other day...well you know my work is always WIP (work in progress) I hardly finished my layout in just one go...usually it should take me a couple of days or so. However on certain times I am done in a jiffy! I have about 4 layouts to be shared and in this entry are one of it.

Sharing with you a layout which I did for "Bird is the Word" and their word is HOPE. This layout was done last week but haven't had the time to upload the photos.  It was a layout for someone I did for FOC and she mentioned she wants it simple and I don't know this is simple enough for her...well at least I tried.  A couple of their layouts are waiting to be shared which I think I will in my next next entry.  I hope they like it as much I do enjoyed creating the page for them. So here you go! (this particular sentence is my girl's favourite sentence to me)

I purposely put an empty journaling tag above so that they can write some journal later on.

Some flowers are given by my swap buddy and you know who you are...thank you Kak Ame. Can you see those two woven kind of ribbons/laces in red under the photo and white, cream and green scallop just on top of the 12x12 paper? those are vintage ribbons/laces...and I have a little bit more to use.

That's all for now and I hope to see you again in my next post and happy crafting. Thank you for your lovely comments in my last post and thank you for stopping by to look at my work and till next time.  Cheers.

you add so much joy and colors to our life...

It has been a while I did not participate in TCR challenge. Yesterday night, eventhough I am mojoless I tried my level best to do one layout for TCR and I did. Not so happy with the outcome however I would love to share with all of you.

I wanted to add a simple title but can't help and what a mess of alphabets...not very happy totally. Thanks for all the comments on my previous post, enjoy your week ahead and happy crafting.

Scrap-it-Lah : June Challenge

I have not updating my blog for quite long and I totally missed scrapbooking...

I had a fairly great weekend with my "two peas" in a bucket :) at home (you know who else?...my soul-mate and my girl). Spending time doing some simple gardening, out for a meals, celebrating father's day, having a tutti frutti time together, chilling at home, cooking together and we had so much fun spending time together. On Sunday morning before anyone busy to start their day, I get to do some scrapbook alone...without anyone disturbing me...ok just a few disturbance by my dear daughter...like when I was talking to the paper and she will come and say "what happen?" that is so cute!

Back to the topic, I haven't played in Scrap-it-Lah challenge blog for so long and last week I tried doing a layout for their June challenge. Before that, had a chat with my DH and he said he can't live without us both...well why not scrap my photo with Miss Z.

Here is fairly simple layout done without any "paint", the paper is from my old Studio Calico kit last year and it is a beautiful paper...I totally like it and I try to blend my embellishments with the paper...by adding some sewing here and there, lace doily and paper doily...enjoy the pictures and thanks for dropping by.

Ohh...by the way, about the paper...I have been following Michelle Alynn Clement's blog since last year and apparently she is the one who designed the paper. Handmade by her using collected vintage bits, lots of paint and ink, lovely vintage found linens and a whole lotta hand and machine stitching + some love.

look at those threads and vintage buttons

my handmade bloom and some vintage buttons

Added gauze roll and machine stitching and the title is pasted with a glue and machine stitching. The font is from Sizzix Endless Love dies.

Also a shout-out to Leeann Pearce...I did it! did some machine stitching without cutting the thread and I drag the thread from the top of the layout to the bottom and around the page...that is Leeann trademark. You might want to see those images above and look at my yellow thread it is everywhere in the layout.

YOU

I am swamped with so many things to do currently and due to that I haven't had time to update my blog. So here I am and we are now in the middle of the year June 2011. This entry will be a short one and I would like to share with you some simple layout I did for the local scrapbook store here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia...Papier. Thanks to Macy for the opportunity and I am glad to be the Guest Artist for June 2011.

This is the layout of my dear daughter and a little info on this layout: I randomly coloured the background with a turquoise blue acrylic paint. The laces are punched from MME patterned cardstock with Martha Stewart border punch. The two Prima flowers are white in colour and I mist both of them with yellow and blue colour. Pink cabochon flower pasted on top of the orange doily and as for the title I used Butterfly Kisses dies.

Thanks for looking and have fun crafting.

little drummer

I haven't been scrapping lately just because I don't have a mojo visiting me for the past 6 days. However, I managed to create one layout and this time I did not use any paint at all. I used the K & Co. die cuts which all the flowers, birds, bees and etc are all pre-cut - all you need to do is just paste them anywhere you like. That is what I did for this layout...it took me 3 days to have this done. Why? I scrapped and I stopped and I continued the next day and I stopped...that is what happened when I don't have a mojo.

My girl is into the music since she is about 9 months, if you follow my blog long enough I have scrapped her photo previously beating the drum. She is definitely following her daddy, we used to do a jamming session at home just the three of us and it is fun! Daddy got her a set of mini drum last month and the moment she saw the set she screamed and I still remember her face. Here is the layout of my dear daughter beating the hi-hat and thanks to Chris for the tittle.

Thanks for looking and for all the comments on my previous post and have a good day!

Watching

Over at StuckOnUSketches, they are having a monthly challenge and for this month challenge, the sketch is done by Ness

I managed to create one on Monday night and here is my take, not so happy with the outcome - you know lately I love to play with paints/colours instead of layering patterned papers in my layout. Here is my take...

Thanks for dropping by and happy crafting.
