I have not updating my blog for quite long and I totally missed scrapbooking...
I had a fairly great weekend with my "two peas" in a bucket :) at home
(you know who else?...my soul-mate and my girl). Spending time doing some simple gardening, out for a meals, celebrating father's day, having a tutti frutti time together, chilling at home, cooking together and we had so much fun spending time together. On Sunday morning before anyone busy to start their day, I get to do some scrapbook alone...without anyone disturbing me...ok just a few disturbance by my dear daughter...like when I was talking to the paper and she will come and say "what happen?" that is so cute!
Back to the topic, I haven't played in Scrap-it-Lah challenge blog for so long and last week I tried doing a layout for their June challenge. Before that, had a chat with my DH and he said he can't live without us both...well why not scrap my photo with Miss Z.
Here is fairly simple layout done without any "paint", the paper is from my old Studio Calico kit last year and it is a beautiful paper...I totally like it and I try to blend my embellishments with the paper...by adding some sewing here and there, lace doily and paper doily...enjoy the pictures and thanks for dropping by.
Ohh...by the way, about the paper...I have been following
Michelle Alynn Clement's blog since last year and apparently she is the one who designed the paper. Handmade by her using collected vintage bits, lots of paint and ink, lovely vintage found linens and a whole lotta hand and machine stitching + some love.

look at those threads and vintage buttons

my handmade bloom and some vintage buttons
Added gauze roll and machine stitching and the title is pasted with a glue and machine stitching. The font is from Sizzix Endless Love dies. Also a shout-out to
Leeann Pearce...I did it! did some machine stitching without cutting the thread and I drag the thread from the top of the layout to the bottom and around the page...that is Leeann trademark. You might want to see those images above and look at my yellow thread it is everywhere in the layout.
