growing

This is the last layout that I did last night and I ran the yellow creamy like pattern paper with Tim Holtz embossing dies and put a little here and there distress ink, I punched holes' the paper and ripped the holes with my embossing pen/tools and it gives the look like it is a note pad page. I used acid free tiny pin to attach my tag/journal to the purple ribbon.

Baby Diaries

It has been a long time I did not update my blog. Last week I went to Scrappingville and did this paper bag album with the guidance from Sharon. I am loving it to bits, just love the colours, unevenness of the pages and everything. Here some photos taken using my iPhone.

Last weekend I did one layout but I keep on forgetting to share with you guys, will do perhaps tomorrow. Thanks for dropping by and have a good week ahead!

Just a little update...

Thanks to those who have commented on my blog recently and I know I have been slacking on updating this blog and I just can't help it. I have been busy with few other things at home and work and the virus hit me again and again I am down with fever.

I did scrapped last week and managed to finished a couple of layouts which I am yet to share with all of you. I promise I will share all of them soon, I have also signed up with the upcoming class that will be held in November at Scrappingville and I just can't wait to go. Thanks to Sharon for inviting me to join the class. Plus, I received a lot of orders on scrapbooks which friends and family requested me to scrap their photos and I just can't say no. I also did a lot of shopping just to replenish my supply and it is never enough. Do you agree with me?

On another note, I have also found a new "guru" for my tatting after so many e-mails back and forth with her and I might be going for my tatting class next week. I have bought all the tools and threads for my tatting class and I just can't wait to tat.

To all that visiting my blog, thanks and have a great weekend everyone.

Raya cards

Finally, I have posted my raya cards a week before Hari Raya to all my slice members. Hopefully it will not damaged when it reaches everyone of you. Here are some pictures that I managed to snap...all total of 7 cards and I make them using my slice machine - 100% using slice machine. In return I received beautiful cards from the rest of the members and thanks all for your absolutely nice Raya cards. Here are mine...

most of the cards has the same wordings...the alphabets and everything that you see here was cut using my slice machine

Finally...this is my 3rd canvas project

I have no mojo at all to scrap and I have been neglecting my scrapping table for more than a week now. However, I would like to revealed my sneak peek on my 3rd canvas project, finally I finished this before the Hari Raya but was busy and keep on forgetting to update.

I used a lot of little-little designer fabrics and sewed them on this canvas piece and embellished freely and not forgetting I put some nice words be it printed or stamped. I also have an acid free newspaper and I cut the meaning of word laughter from the newspaper and pasted on, a lot of sewing as you can see. Each time I sewed the little-little fabrics I sewed them using different patterns, cut the fabrics using my zig zag scissor, I even used the Adirondack ink and coloured the background of this canvas (you can't really see through the pictures above) but it is nice and its give a bit of shimmering look. I would love to make something like this more in the future, I was so inspired by Donna Downey canvas project. Do share with me your latest canvas project, enjoy your week ahead and thanks for dropping by!
