Book Binding

Thanks to all my blog readers for the lovely comment on my previous post, totally appreciate that.

Last week on Saturday, I went for my book binding class by Nadhrah and overall it is a good class. It is a bit hard for me at first, you know I sew a lot but to sew a book is just something totally new for me. We did two techniques and I brought back two books all sewn by myself. Thanks Nadhrah for the guidance.

I love this books because it lays flat when you open and on top of that I did it from scratch. Thank you for dropping by and have a great week.

  9. Howdi

Liked yr 1 liner in my blog la...... Write more ya ..... (lol !)

Looks like I have to come 2 u for class now.......!!! yr tins are fab looking . Did u use metal paint straight on without priming the tin ?

  10. Thank all and the class was good but I am too slow on stitching the book la...not sure whether will I continue doing this book binding...perhaps some other times.

Lakshmi, the tin was painted with metal paint not Jo Sonja's or Americana acrylic paints. The paint that I am using, you don't need to prime first just straight away paint on the metal. It is such a good brand, can't remember what the brand name. See you soon.

    Hugs to all
